Challenge people to grow.

Many people don’t like to challenge themselves or to be challenged. But if you speak with respect and honor and describe the positive outcomes, it will inspire better action. Positively framed challenges motivate people to excel.

Instructions

  1. Challenge the character of those you want to influence.
Ask people if they gave their all. Make them live up to the universal values of honor, integrity, responsibility, self-control, patience, hard work, and persistence.

  2. Challenge the connections of those you want to influence.
Ask people if and how they could be treating others better.

  3. Challenge the contributions of those you want to influence.
Ask people if and how they could give even more or serve with even greater excellence and distinction.
