When asking for a favor, give a reason for it.

When asking for a favor, the word “because” triggers an automatic response in most humans wherein they will be more likely to comply with your request.

1. Explain why you need the favor.
   For example, if there’s a queue at a printer that you need to use, saying, “Excuse me, I need to use the printer because I’m in a rush,” will be more effective than saying, “Excuse me, I need to use the printer.”

2. Use the word “because.”
   Always ensure that your explanation for why you require the favor includes the word “because.”
