  1. Check email a maximum of twice a day.
    Set an exact hour to process your emails, e.g., 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. Avoid checking emails in the morning.

  2. Turn off all notifications about new messages.

  3. Move all communication from phones to emails.
    When people write an email, they are more concrete and concise.

  4. Minimize time spent in meetings.
    Refusing and avoiding meetings is an art. Practice it.
