Go for what you really want

When you begin to focus on what you truly want, you eliminate unnecessary activities that do not lead you where you want to go.

Instructions

  1. Figure out what you truly want to achieve.
Think about it—what is your ultimate goal?

  2. Focus on it.
Don’t allow yourself to get distracted by anything other than what matters to you most.

  3. De-prioritize your ego without becoming a pushover
The next time you feel your ego being challenged, think about the big picture: If you de-prioritize your ego and stay humble, will it be easier for you to reach your ultimate goal? However, self-respect is more important than humility - don't allow anyone to walk all over you.

  4. Be firm but kind with yourself
Forgive your mistakes and confront your flaws. Be supportive of your efforts and refrain from self-critical thinking.
