Being authentic is one of the most important elements of building a personal brand. When you’re not authentic, people will feel it. Building a personal brand takes time and work. A lot of time and a lot of work. Nowadays, everyone wants to do everything quickly and easily. But not everything can be accomplished quickly and easily.

1. Be authentic.
   Don’t act; don’t try to do things just to please your audience. Just be yourself.

2. Don’t invest too much in a good camera or microphone.
   Those are secondary things. The most important thing is authenticity and great content.

3. Hustle.
   Nothing is more important than working hard. Your passion and your skills are not as important as your working hours.

4. Be patient.
   It takes time to build a personal brand. And to be patient, you must love what you are doing. It can take years of hard work to succeed.
