Learn public speaking: become comfortable on the stage.

Charismatic speakers feel as comfortable walking on the stage as they feel in their own living room.

Instructions

Feeling comfortable on the stage is also called owning the stage.

  1. Be sure to have a wide stance, well balanced on both feet.
This will make you look and feel more confident.

  2. Practice without a podium or a lectern.
Staying behind one for your presentation can give the impression that you are fearful to venture out.

  3. Find the right volume to project confidence.
This can be tricky, and the best way to do it is to determine how loud the sound system is for the back seats before the presentation.
