Learn to cope with others’ feelings.

Instructions

  1. Instead of fixing others’ problems, take a moment to feel their discomfort.
When someone faces hardships, they may not always need you to be the fixer and come up with a solution. Sit down with them and encourage them to feel their discomfort.

  2. Treat people with respect.
Instead of regarding others’ suffering as a sign of weakness, show them you still acknowledge their self-worth.

  3. Set clear boundaries.
Communicating to someone what bothers you in terms of their approach does not make you a bad person. It’s fine for someone to disagree with you, but they don’t need to ridicule your beliefs.
