See yourself as something bigger than yourself.

Once you come to terms with accepting death, you will no longer be on a quest for immortality via the creation of a conceptual self. You can then place your focus on things you have control over, and achieve more of the happiness you deserve from life.

Instructions

  1. Come to terms with your death.
Tell yourself, “death is inevitable, and I will die one day”.

  2. Ask yourself, “How will the world remember me when I am gone?”
Get a piece of paper and write down what you want your legacy to be.

  3. Work towards that legacy.
Read what you have written down daily. Remind yourself that while you are still on this Earth, you should try your best to contribute something to make it a better place. Take the necessary steps to achieve that desired legacy.
