Musk developed his passion over time. When he was young, he did not know what he wanted to do when he grew up. However, when computers began to emerge, he became passionate about the endless possibilities they could offer.

Interestingly enough, many of the world’s biggest companies also have a clearly defined higher purpose. Google organizes the information of the world, instead of leaving it scattered across the internet. When it was originally formed, Apple’s purpose was “To make a contribution to the world by making tools for the mind that advance humankind.”
